Gloriette, Miss Dior, 2013
For the occasion of an exhibition dedicated to the world and the history of Miss Dior, the Haute Couture House invited fifteen artists to interpret the spirit of the first fragrance designed by Christian Dior in 1947.
Dior suggested to focus my project on the particular theme of gloves.
This is how I diverted the glove's silhouette to a more decorative element evoking different symbols of this iconic fragrance.
Between couture and architecture, the kiosk features a roof like a rosette made out of fabric gloves that suggest a flower, a dress, a fan or feathers...
À l'occasion d'une exposition dédiée à l'univers et l'histoire de Miss Dior, la Maison de Haute Couture a convié quinze artistes à revisiter l'esprit du premier parfum conçu par Christian Dior en 1947.
La maison Dior m'a alors invitée à focaliser mon projet sur la thématique particulière du gant.
J'ai donc détourné sa silhouette en un élément décoratif évoquant différents symboles de cette fragrance emblématique.
Entre couture et architecture, ce kiosque arbore un toit composé d'une rosace de gants en tissu évoquant tour à tour une fleur, une robe, des plumes, un éventail...
